Most couples find that 8 hours of coverage is ideal to capture everything from getting ready to the final dance floor moments. However, if you’re not worried about capturing the last hour or two of dancing, 6 hours can be a more affordable option while still covering the key parts of your day — like getting ready, the ceremony, and the major reception events.

📸 How much time do I need to cover the most important parts of my wedding day without breaking the bank? 

Yes! Most of our collections include a second photographer. It’s great to have two professionals working different areas or angles at the same time to capture more moments. However, if you’re having a small, intimate wedding with 30 guests or fewer and only need a few hours of coverage (without getting ready photos), one photographer is likely enough — and it’s a great way to save money!

📸 Do you offer a second wedding photographer?

Yes! We have $1 million in liability coverage and are happy to provide proof to your wedding venue upon request. Most venues require this coverage to ensure everything runs smoothly, so we’ve got you covered!

📸 Do you have liability insurance? My venue requires it. 

Absolutely! Each photographer will have two camera bodies during your wedding. Your main photographer will carry both cameras during the ceremony — we’ve even had a camera malfunction during a ceremony, and backup gear saved the day! We also bring extra lenses and lighting to ensure nothing is missed. No matter what happens, we’ve got you covered!

We’ve got you covered! We bring professional lights and light stands to make sure your reception is well-lit, no matter the location. This is something you’ll want to discuss with any potential wedding photographer before booking — not all photographers are experienced with off-camera lighting, but we are!

📸 Do you have lighting for an outdoor wedding reception? 

Yes! We offer stunning wedding books and high-end luxury wedding albums. These albums are crafted with premium materials and designed to beautifully showcase your wedding day memories. Our wedding albums start at $300. If you’d like to add one to your package, let us know — we’ll create something timeless that you’ll treasure forever.

📸 Do you offer wedding books and albums?

We understand that things happen! If your new wedding date is available, we’ll gladly move your date at no extra charge. If your lead photographer is already booked, you’ll be assigned another experienced DePoy Studios photographer. If all leads are booked, you’ll receive a refund for any payments made beyond the non-refundable booking retainer.
