Sopy and Sean Engagement
DePoy Studios first met this super cute couple after a friend bid on our wedding photography services from the I Do Wedding Charity Auction This is a fantastic Charity event that couples can bid and win all their wedding day services at $10,000’s less than they would pay from booking their vendors direct. Best part of it, ALL the money from the bids go to the charities from the event!! Needless to say, Spoy and Sean were the lucky couples who won the bid.
Right away we just loved these two cuties who are super cute, fun, and full of life. They fit right in! They first met because Sean worked with Sopy’s brother in law and often came to family events. Sopy’s sister suggested he take her out. Sopy was not that crazy about her friend trying to set her up! They went on our first date and exchanged numbers, but that was it for about a month! They saw each other again at an event and started hanging. A few months later love kidded in and their relationship just sort of grew. These two crazy Crossfit lovers have been together for 9 years and engaged since 2011! These two workout together and have a blast doing it, as you will see. Thank you to Wildfire Crossfit for allowing us to come into their gym and photograph this fun filled engagement session!
Family is very important to them, so they wanted to wait until Sean’s family could make the trip from Iran to get married. Sean proposed when they were on a stunning beach in Hawaii. Completely shocked, Sopy had no clue Sean was going to ask her to be his wife, but everything was planned!! Imagine an ocean view in Oahu by the Banyan Tree while the sun is setting… Stunning!! Well, that is where Sean popped the question. We will be joining them at the breathtaking new wedding venue Chateau Luxe. We are super excited to be their Chateu Luxe wedding photographer, and can’t wait to share the next part of their love story with you all!

After some time at the beautiful DC Ranch, it was time to hit the GYM!! These two love birds, love Crossfit SO much they fit the GYM Monday~Friday at 6am!!
Sean was going to do a squat if it killed Sopy, we were all cracking up!!
