We joined Leslie + Benee on March 17, 2018 for their amazing wedding at Events on Jackson. This venue is absolutely perfect for that special day. Their wedding was beautifully planned and artfully executed by Joann with Apropros Creations. Joann went out of her way to make Leslie + Benee’s wedding and reception everything they dreamed it could be. This wonderful couple deserved the best and that’s exactly what Joann gave them.

The one thing, other than tying the knot, that Leslie + Benee were looking forward to on their wedding day was having all the people they love in one place. Just like Leslie said, “When does that ever happen?” It definitely happened on their spectacular wedding day!

Family and friends are very important to this fun loving couple. One of Leslie’s favorite wineries is located in her hometown. Every summer the winery puts on a series of concerts in their amphitheater. Last summer they feature John Legend, one of Leslie’s all-time favorites. Benee took Leslie to the concert where they were joined by family and friends. Benee asked Leslie to get a bottle of wine from the cooler. When she turned back around, Benee was on one knee. He had a wonderful speech prepared but froze. He did manage to propose though! She said yes!

This crazy couple loves to do all things together. When asked what was the silliest thing they had done together, their answer was simple: They dance in the kitchen almost every day. Leslie says that Benee brings so much light into their lives. While they are making dinner or washing dishes, Benee will break out in song and they will just dance. Slow dance. Fast dance. It doesn’t matter. All that matters is it’s always with lots of laughter. The dance floor was always packed and the guests constantly moving to music provided by Joel Avena with Boomsquad. There was never any reason to sit down when this kind of music playing.
